1929 Biloxi Blessing of the Fleet

A Tradition Since 1929

The countdown to the 87th Annual Blessing of the Fleet and Shrimp Festival has begun!

Join us June 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th 2016 celelebrating our culture, our heritage, our legacy.  The Biloxi Blessing of the Fleet belongs to all of us and you're invited.

Join us as we once again honor this beloved Biloxi tradition.

What, when and where

The Blessing festivities take place in historic East Biloxi, also known as Point Cadet.  The Fais Do-Do is held at Point Cadet Pavilion on Saturday and the Blessing Event is held in the Biloxi Channel with prime viewing locations from the Golden Nugget westward to the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor!

Confused?  Don't worry, we've got you covered with our Schedule of Events (including maps to most of the events).

Meet our sponsors!

Without our Sponsors, none of this would be possible.  Please visit and consider doing business with our friends.  They are all great folks!

Would you like to know more?

  • The information in About should clear things up.  If you are at all interested in Biloxi, the Blessing of the Fleet is "the" event to attend.
  • If that information whets your appetite, you may also want to peruse our Photos.  You'll meet the Kings and Queens, see the Pastor of St. Michael Church blessing the passing watercraft and marvel at the beautifully decorated boats on our Mississippi Sound.

Or even more?
